Every tool in TheCubbyStop uses Google Sheets and Google Drive as its database. That means your data lives in your account, not ours.
You own it completely
Your data is stored as standard Google Sheets and files in your own Google Drive. Even if TheCubbyStop disappeared tomorrow, your data stays right where it is.
We never see it
We have no database. No servers storing your information. The tools run in your browser and talk directly to your Google account. We're not in the middle.
You control access
Grant or revoke permissions anytime through your Google account settings. You decide what each tool can and can't touch.
Your Google Drive
All tool data is stored as standard files in your Google Drive — spreadsheets, documents, and folders you can open, edit, or delete anytime. No proprietary formats. No lock-in.
The cubby and the junk drawer
When I was a kid I spent a lot of time at my grandmother's house. She didn't keep toys around, so if I wanted something to play with I had to bring it myself. What her kitchen did have was a cubby, a little built-in nook beside the cabinets just big enough for a kid to climb into and sit down. That cubby was my spot.
And right next to it was the junk drawer. I'd wedge myself into the cubby, pull that drawer open, and dump half of it into my lap. Buttons, birthday cards, scissors, tape, a flashlight, a key nobody could identify. I'd stay in there for hours.
None of it matched and most of it made no sense together, but when Grandma needed something, she knew exactly where it was.
Then I grew up and the clutter came with me. Different house, same piles. Eventually I figured if it bugged me this much, it probably bugged other people too. So I built the thing I kept wishing somebody else had built.
That's where the name came from. The cubby was the spot I stopped at, and the drawer was everything worth keeping. TheCubbyStop is both. A CEU tracker next to a recipe builder next to a small business toolkit. They don't go together, and that's fine. Every one of them is here because it solves an actual problem.
So pull up and set your stuff down. Grandma always left the light on for me. Seemed worth doing the same.
